the second day of the second month

It's been a busy morning.

Breakfast eaten, beds made, laundry done, crit written for one group (need to write one for the other group, but I have several days still), novel considered....

I have this novel (it's the one I wrote in November) that's still working its way around in my head. I've had more insights into the story and the characters and really want to work on it some more. At the same time, I have a short story and a novelette that need editing and to be sent off into the world.

What to do, what to do.

I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again. In terms of this writing gig, I really don't know what I'm doing.

But since the inspiration is here right now, I'll probably spend time on the novel.

Tonight we're going to some friends' house for a sort of Candlemas experience. They're very Christian and I don't know that they know what all it entails. I think they're viewing it as a "cultural experience" or something. But, in any event, the husband is making crepes. He lived in France for a couple of years, and he makes mean crepes. Yum! Those alone are worth going for. Well, and we also really enjoy their company :).

Back to the old keyboard.
