strange raspberries

Yesterday I didn't get a lot done. I participated in some of the celebration we traveled up north for (the one concerning my husband's cousin's finalized adoption of the baby), but ended up spending a good portion of the evening in bed. But I didn't necessarily sleep. In fact, I distinctly did not sleep a lot at all. It's hard to get comfortable in someone else's bed when you're 7 1/2 months pregnant and have forgotten your body pillow.

I did make a breakthrough on a short story I'm working on, which is a very cool thing, except that it means there will be a little bit of rewriting that needs to be done. Ah well, happens, right?

I also had a dream last night about a "houseguest" burying their mother's remains in his hosts' garden and planting raspberries over the grave. Other bizarre stuff ensued. If I keep digging, there might be a story behind this. You never know.
