Sad thing in London. Terrible. And I'm grateful it wasn't worse....

######################################################
So, due to the fact that my number count increases, I know people are reading this.

Let's all play a game, eh?

I'll list a first line from a book (or part of the first line), and someone who knows the book and the author (and gets there first) that the line comes from can post that in my remarks section as well as a first line of their own and a link to their journal. We can all go over to their journal then where someone else will post the answer and then post their own first line and so on.

Make sense?

My first line (actually a section from):

"Barrabas came to us by sea...".

Go to.

########################################################

Tonight we went and had Mexican with some friends. We celebrated Randy's 29th birthday tonight. I had white fish marinated (and thus prepared/"cooked") in lime juice with diced onions, tomatoes, and cilantro and more lime juice on white corn tortillas. Avadore inhaled a cheese enchilada.

We're home now. I'm journaling and Rice is poking at his machine. Soon we're going to go upstairs where it's cool and the wind is blowing and rain is sprinkling and we'll have some communal reading.

A nice way to spend an evening.
