LD is one tomorrow.

Today we're going north to have a party with the in-laws.

I spent the morning making a coconut sheep cake complete with cupcake flower and clouds.

You want domesticity? It don't get no more domestic than that.

Avadore got a bunny for his first birthday. I tried a new flour blend for LD's -- LD's is DEFINITELY better. YUM!

Despite my determination for this not to happen, I'm dreaming of Mr. Anthropology again. Last night he and I were on a road trip in Rice's car. We were by the ocean, and in the woods, and in Portland and going up north. We were taking this trip I've wanted to take for half of my life, but it's never happened, primarily because Rice hasn't been interested.

With everything the way they are, with everything that's happened... I'm just trying to make sense of what my brain is trying to do, trying to tell me.

Maybe Mr. Anthropology is a part of me and I'm telling myself to go out and fulfill what I want myself without waiting anymore.
