Strange Horizons has extended their fall fund drive through November 12. What this means is that they haven't reached their goal yet. What else could this mean? Well, they have to pay to run the magazine somehow...

Currently, Strange Horizons offers an excellent new story every week. There are also new articles, reviews, and poetry. And they pay well. So whether you're a reader or a writer, there's a benefit here for everyone.

We have lost some excellent venues for fiction lately. (And some excellent markets.) SciFiction is just one example. Strange Horizons has been around for over five years now, and has published some wonderful stuff. It would be a shame to lose them.

I would encourage you to bypass the mocha today folks -- even a couple bucks from several people can add up and make a difference.
