2004-04-09 11:44 PM Pepperoni pizzas Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (2) Forget my complaint yesterday about no GMail folder for received messages, it makes perfect sense in the whole conversation paradigma.
Got Pieter's feedback on my first few pages of thesis text. It needs to be a bit more formal, and I need to explicitly refer to the pictures in the text instead of just dropping them on the page for the reader to look at. Other than that it were mainly small things. He gave me mad props for using the term tabula rasa in my text. I didn't tell him it was because I couldn't remember the expression starting with a clean slate at the time. I'd planned to get some serious thesis writing done today but instead hung out with Hans the whole afternoon, as he was in town to pick up his diploma. Talked a lot of geek talk, covering such topics as computer games, specific Magic the Gathering cards and web design. Then we had two pepperoni pizzas. Ah, takes me right back to the good old days before the bastard graduated and got a job. Came across John Gruber's weblog today and this post almost had me snap my neck from nodding in agreement so hard. Never have I agreed this much with a piece of writing. Every syllable sings to my heart. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
