Amazing What a Little Exercise will Do!!!

I'm trying to get back into a little bit of a health routine. I know I know...I've written a post like this hundreds of times (well, maybe 5 or 6 times), but I think that I'm actually going to do it this time. Usually during the winter months, it's easy for me to fall into an unhealthy rut of eating poorly and not getting any exercise. But now that the weather is starting to get back to "dallas normal," I feel more energized to get outside and to the gym for exercise. Plus I drew some inspiration from my brother and Jamie who are both members of a fitness club. If they can do it with their busy lives, then there is no reason why a relatively unbusy college student shouldn't be able to do the same.

I'm taking it slowly however. Last night and this morning I did 2 sets of 25 crunches and 2 sets of 15 push-ups, just to get my muscles back into the swing of things. Even though I didn't really exert myself all that much, I can still feel it this morning. My chest and my tri-ceps have an all too familiar soreness to them. I missed that feeling and it feels GREAT to have that soreness again. Anyone who's ever enjoyed working out, knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Anyways...Just thought I'd share. :-)
