It seems that a majority of my web browsing recently has been devoted to political information gathering. Whereas browsing the web used to mean checking out any and all entertainment sites, I now spend most of my time searching for any and all information about the election.

If there's one political thing that I've avoided for the most part, it's polling information. I've made it a point to avoid any poll. This year, it seems like everything is pretty even steven so it doesn't really do me any good to check out who's polling ahead of who. One day it'll be Bush, the next Kerry. It's a tight race, that's for damn sure.

I had forgotten just how political I get during election years. I was the same way in 2000. The only difference between now and then is that I avoid pundit shows now. I used to watc Hardball and other type shows, but now I avoid them at all costs. I prefer my blood pressure stay where it's at thank you very much.
