Good morning all.

I've totally bought into Air America, and listen to it nearly every minute I'm in my car. The put out some really insightful stuff, while keeping it pretty lighthearted and fun.

Even with Janeane Garofalo, Marc Maron, Robert Kennedy, and Al Franken all having shows, I think that so far my favorite of the Air America shows is the Jerry Springer show. He really knows a lot about politics, and can certainly handle his own on the radio. He seems better equipped for radio than he does for television. I heard him debate someone about abortion on the show yesterday, and he kept it really civil and engaging. I credit this to his years and years of holding his own with the bottom of the barrel on his awful television show.

Janeane Garofalo seems like she was born to be on talk radio. She has that great wit that transcends the airwaves and comes out loud and clear on my speakers.

For some reason, I catch "The Randi Rhodes" show more than any of the other shows. She's GREAT. She seems the best at handling the dual nature of being a radio entertainer, and knowing her facts inside and out.

I'm not so hot on the Al Franken show. Books tend to be his best medium, although he's certainly good on his show.

Although far from perfect, and far from there being an equivalent to Rush Limbaugh on Air America, I can not tell you how great it is to finally have an answer to Right Wing Radio. I'm a big fan of balance.

Studying for finals is really beginning to gain full steam. I'm REALLY striving to pull this semester out from the dumps, and think that I'm on my way. Wish me luck.

I purchased the Episode III soundtrack the other day. Almost more than the movie, I've been looking forward to hearing the new music. I've heard a couple of tracks and they're really good. I'll give you a full on review once I've seen the movie.

But the soundtrack came with a dvd of 16 "music videos" of John Williams music intercut with scenes from all 6 of the movies. It runs about 70 minutes long, and is really, goosebump inducing entertainment.

Lucas has always contended that he wanted the SW movies to act as silent movies, in that you could tell by the music and the costumes just who the good and bad guys were. This dvd proves that he has (at least partly) succeeded in this task. Even the cheesier elements of the prequel movies get taken up a notch on this dvd. It's good stuff.

It's raining today...finally. It's been oddly cold the past week or so. I don't know that I've ever seen temperatures in the low 40's in May. I don't know, but it sometimes seems like the seasons are shifting by a month. It was hotter later into the Fall last year than I remember it. We haven't had any April showers, yet the forecasts call for rain the off and on the next couple of weeks or so. We had temps in the 40's...in MAY.

Hmmmm...

It's probably nothing.
