Eddie Cochran said it best. "There ain't no cure for the summertime blues."

After finishing my first summer class last Thursday, I start two more today. I hope that they're not too mentally taxing, though I'm betting that they will be. But it's all good. I'm up for the challenge.

And on the upside, being in class and work from 8 to 5 ensures that the majority of the time I'm outside is on the up and down side of the Texas heat. The rest of the time is spent sitting under an A/C vent in a relative state of comfort.

Watched both Episode I and Episode II this past weekend. Episode III definitely made both of the movies better overall. Can't wait to see what effect, if any, the prequels have on the older movies. They're such different trilogies. The new movies are like seeing the origins of your grumpy father, while the older movies are about the son and his sarcastic friends pestering the grumpy old man to let them take the new car out.

"Dad, can I take the X-Wing out? Leia, Han, and Chewie want to cruise the strip."

"No. You have to stay in and help me prune the bushes around the Death Star."

"Whatever old man. You just don't get it."

In other news, life keeps chugging along.
