Yeah. So the game was pretty ho-hum. Seattle vs. Pittsburgh. BLAH CENTRAL!

I knew it was bad when I found myself flipping back and forth between the Super Blah and the Liza Minneli episode of "Inside the Actor's Studio," which I must say may be one of my all time favorite episodes of that show. She really seemed down to earth and genuine in what she was saying.

...

But yeah. Kind of a boring game between two uninteresting teams.

The Rolling Stones once again proved that they're willing to censor themselves when a big media conglomerate tells them to do so. At first I thought it was ABC that bleeped out questionably lyrics, but I read later that it was all Mick's doing. Way to stick to your guns there Mick. Coincidentally, last night was the 40th anniversary of the Rolling Stones appearance on the Ed Sullivan show; you know the first show where they self-censored themselves.

"Let's spend some time together" HA!

At least Jim Morrison was hip enough to a) not censor himself on Ed Sullivan and b) quit (in every sense of the word) while he was ahead.

And at the end of the day, I don't think they looked or sounded good. They sounded old. Not just old, but irrelevant. Nothing's more painful than someone who doesn't know how to let go, and is just a shell of their former self.

Yeah. The game sucked, the half time show sucked, the teams sucked. It was the Super Blah!

If you wanted to see something entertaining last night, Animal Planet showed "The Puppy Bowl," which is nothing more than about 10 puppies playing with one another on top of a fake football field. It was so utterly adorable and SURREAL that I think I could have watched all three hours of it and not have been bored.
