Three Point Bulletin

1. I got a haircut last week. I took in a photograph of what I wanted it to look like. The photograph was actually a series of photographs of actors with haircuts like the one I wanted. I think she may have been blind because she cut it for shorter than I was hoping for or expected. It's a good haircut, and I'm starting to like it, but it's WAY shorter than I wanted. I was pretty mad after I got the haircut because once again, I wasn't getting the haircut I asked for. That being said, it's a pretty good haircut to have for the job search that kicks into high gear this week.

2. Spent this past weekend in Houston. It was good to be down there and to see everyone. It was a short trip, but I felt I got a lot of good memories to hold me over until the next time I go down. I can't wait to get back down there for another fun weekend. Part of the reason why I went down this past weekend was to see Luke and to make sure he's doing alright. He seemed to be quite relaxed. I know these past few weeks have been tough, the last few days in particular, but he still managed to do more smiling than not. I guess that's the thing with shit storms; if you keep your mouth closed, you're still going to have a pearly white smile.

3. Despite not seeing many movies the past few weeks, I am really jazzed about some upcoming movies, "V for Vendetta" in particular. I think it's going to have a lot of political resonance, while also being a kick ass action movie. I'm also looking forward to "Mission Impossible 3," if for nothing else than seeing P. S. Hoffman take on a scene chewing type performance. The fact that JJ Abrams is directing is also reason enough to be excited. And of course, the countdown has officially begun for "Superman Returns." That one is going to be really good.
