YEAH...BOYEEEE!!!!

I had a really fun weekend this past weekend. It went by way to damn fast, but it was fun nonetheless.

It was one of those weekends where I felt as if I didn't really have a chance to talk and hang out with everyone I wanted to hang out with. And in some cases, when I did hang out with someone, I was so damn tired I wasn't much fun to be around. I guess that means I need to make another trip up to Denton and Dallas to see everyone. I'll bring the Mountain Dew and caffeine pills next time...

The Vagina Monologues was great, as it always is. What minor complaints I do have with it, are that, minor and not even worth mentioning. What's ultimately most important is that it raised a sh*t load of money for a good cause. I don't know about attendance stats, but it seemed to be one of the most crowded years I've seen for the show. Both nights had a lot of people in attendance.

The highlight of the weekend was getting to spend some quality time with my brother. In the past few years, it seems like we haven't really had a lot of great opportunities to hang out in the way that we used to. One of the coolest parts of the weekend was when we got to rock the mic with some old school "Humpty Dance." But even better than that was seeing him completely rock it out improv style. No joke, he's one of the best I've ever seen at coming up with rhymes off the top of his head. It's really quite amazing, really. And to top it all off, he seems as happy now as I've seen him in some time.

But also, it was fun hanging out at Britney's after the Monologues on Saturday. Even though I was pretty much passed out on the couch, it was fun as hell listening to the wild stuff that everyone was coming up with. One of my favorite traits about people is their sense of humor. With that being said, my brother and my friends have always had GREAT senses of humor.

Another highlight of the trip was the rad ass dinner we had at Taco Cabana on that Friday night after the Monologues. Nothing beats going to dinner with a bunch of friends and just shooting the sh*t for hours on end. It was really fun.

And to top if all off, I got to speak to both of my sisters for extended periods of time on the drive home. Anytime I get to catch up with three of the siblings is a good time in my book. It was the perfect topper to one of the best weekends I've had in a long time.
