For the life of me, I can't figure out why this whole John Kerry remark is getting the play that it's getting. Was it a dumb thing to say? Yes. Should John Kerry stay on the campaign trail? Probably not. Should this story get front page news for TWO days in a row? Absolutely not.

We need 2 revolutions in this country. One for our crappy politicians and one for our crappy media. This is a non-story, yet the more the media covers it, the more it becomes an actual story. I only hope and prey that the American people are smart enough to see through this "mess" for what it is; the Republicans grasping at straws.

Because it was a dumb remark to say, although quite honestly, I don't think it's too far from the truth. Yet at the end of the day, the Republican record on everything from the war in Iraq, to the social issues surrounding Terry Schiavo, Michael J. Fox, and gay marriage, to the handling of the Hurricane Katrina aftermath, and to the expanding deficit (to name just a few bullet points), proves that the Grand Ol Party doesn't have a leg to stand on.
