Three-Day Weekends

Had a good weekend:
- My Marine buddy Eric Lorbach was in town this past weekend. It was great to see him and to catch up a little bit. We both marveled at the idea that it's been 8 years since we both got out of the Marines. My how time flies. I'm truly grateful that despite the length of time since we served, we both continue to remain good friends.
- Saw two movies (No Country for Old Men, Cloverfield) and loved them both. Reviews will be up shortly.
- Went down to San Antonio to help Anya's stepdad celebrate his 60th birthday. Was a good time. Anya's mom watched Parker while Anya and I made our way to Genghis Grille, which is one of our favorite restaurants.
- Made it back last night, tired and ready for the week.
- Three day weekends are great. Not only is it a long weekend, but it makes the following week shorter. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
- Sweet P's still cute.
