The LOST finale airs tonight and I'm pretty damn pumped. After 4 plus years, it's still the best show on television and their finales never disappoint.

I doubt that tonight's finale will top last year's finale in either emotional punch or mind-blowing twists, but I'm sure they'll try.

I even predict that we'll get a substantial answer. ... But of course this answer will open up 5 more questions. I've kind of noticed this a bit. They're giving out answers slowly. And whereas before, they'd give out answers that would open up ten questions, their answers are becoming more and more solid. You can definitely tell that in terms of the overall arc of the show, we're on the downward slope of where they're going.

Some things to ponder over tonight:

- What does it mean for Locke to move the island? I have a couple of differing theories on this. They've really showed a lot of hints at "the cold" haven't they? Ben appeared in his episode in a heavy winter coat. Hurley drew a picture of a man in snow while he was in the mental asylum. Penny's two Portugeuse men were looking for Desmond in some place frigid.

I think there's a possibility that the people on the island will end up moved to some place cold. Maybe the people on the island can jump back and forth between the arctic and the island. That would explain the polar bears, wouldn't it? I think it may be possible that there are numerous "jump points," which would explain the importance of the Australian outback (Bernard and Rose's story) and the polar bear in the desert (Charlotte's story).

- What if the island is hidden behind some kind of 5th dimensional wall and that's how it "moves." It hasn't really moved location per se, but it has moved through space and time. So Jack, Kate and the rest of the Oceanic Six really were adrift in the Ocean?

To take this a step further, do you remember when Desmond traveled to and fro the island? He grew disoriented about where he was and didn't even remember who Sayid was? Well what if that had happened to the Oceanic 6 and they really didn't remember what had happened on the island?

- What's going to happen with Locke? I think tonight's episode is going to be H.U.G.E for one Mr. John Locke. Can't wait to see!

Matt
