There are two movies I'm really (on a geek level) looking forward to. The one that opens Friday and the one that opens on November 7th. I am just so beyond jazzed about "The Dark Knight," I can hardly stand it. So I thought I'd take a few posts to talk about Batman (as seen in tv and movies) throughout the years.

Who doesn't love the old Batman show from the 60's? I bet that this was one of those shows that really brought home the difference between black and white and color. I mean, can you imagine watching old "Leave it to Beaver" in black and white and comparing it with the brightness that this show had? It must have really popped.

I have fond memories of my Uncle Ted and Uncle Kirk talking about growing up with this show. Liking Batman? Is there any way that two uncles could be any cooler?

While it's not the best Batman of all time, I find the 1960's Batman movie to be far superior to both Joel Schumacher's movies. At least this Batman knew that it was campy.

I also really dug on how Romero's joker just painted right over his moustache. I think that's classic. And I'm glad to see that Adam West is still around in "The Family Guy.

Really, the below clip just says it all. See y'all tomorrow.
