At the moment, I'm tempted to start a punk klezmer band, just so I could name it Macaroon Security Standoff.

The Daily Cabal celebrated its third anniversary yesterday with a quartet of Kabbalah-influenced stories, including one with Jorge Luis Borges. *glee*

It's too easy to talk about everything,
that's what's wrong with literary life:
a novel condensed to a sigh, and death
in a Petri dish. But aren't we those who make
