Feverish writing

Oh sadness. I had it all planned out, once I got done with my final run-through of my baseball novel. I had a loverly can (one of those "Pub Draughts") of Guinness I was using as the motivational carrot to get my revising and tweaking done, and I finished it all up today, only to feel to sick to quaff it.

Bummer. Got to love that feverish feeling you get when your temperature starts to rise and your body fights off whatever virus you picked up. I was feeling all floaty all day long.

It would be more enjoyable if I wasn't so DAMN COLD! I got me the shivers.

So I'm vegging out tonight after going over almost 400 manuscript pages in less than two days. I'll ship it off tomorrow at the lucky PO out in RTP.

And I got some good news -- the anthology Jigsaw Nation, which features my story "This Divided Land," will come out in HARDCOVER in May of this year. Can't wait to see the final version of this one. While I was proofing my story, I saw some of the other stories, and they look quite intriguing.

Okay, I'm about ready to fall over now, so see ya! Later.
