Before you do anything else, go check out Google Mars. If you've seen Google Earth, you get the idea. You can search the red planet and find all sorts of stuff. Well, mostly craters and mountains, but it's still damn cool.

What a day. It was pretty much non-stop, but I did manage to put together a synopsis of my current novel, something I wasn't planning on doing for a while, not 'til after I finished the first draft. But the workshop I'm going to needs either a complete novel by March 15th, or the first 200 pages and a synopsis of the whole shebang. So... it's synopsis time!

After going a couple days, it's nice to make some progress, even if it's small:

And hey, today's mail brought a copy of this, which contains a reprint of my story "Natural Order":

Cool -- a story translated into Polish! If only I knew what it said... It's a lovely magazine, with a great cover, what looks like some fine articles, and nice layout and artwork inside. Nice work, guys!

And finally -- Drew hit fifteen months today! I was hoping to post a photo of him from today, but I didn't get a chance to do it. I did, however, get some lovely footage of him playing with some of the moving boxes spread out all over our house. The kid loves climbing in and out of 'em, and he gets a little nutty if he can't get in one of the boxes. And yeah, he can say "Box!" quite clearly, too. He's clearly a genius.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something else from this crazy, productive day, but I still have to walk the dog and brush my teeth. Later!
