Just one question: Why does everyone turn British all of a sudden when they're getting married?

"We appreciate the favour of your reply."

You appreciate the what of my what? Come on, that U doesn't belong there.

"Please join us on the XXth of MONTH, at half past 2 in the afternoon."

What? You can't write "2:30 p.m.?" Jesus. I mean, can't you just HEAR the Brit snit in an invitation like that?

When I get married, I think my invitations will go a little something like this:

"I'm getting married Saturday. I would love if you could make it. Think you can? Check one box."

Very grade-school do-you-like-me love letter. And I mean, if it was good enough to get from Jason Koval in the 6th grade, it should be good enough for my wedding guests.
