Just Doing It

Sometimes, you don't know what you can endure until you just get through it. And sometimes, you don't know what you can do until you just do it.

An assignment came at 7PM Tuesday 12/15 for 20 articles, 500 word count, on the topic of Twitter and Facebook (mostly Twitter.) That's 10,000 words if my math is correct. Knowing me and math, feel free to double-check.

Due date: 11PM Wednedsay 12/16.

Delivered with 45 minutes to spare.

For those of you who celebrate the Christmas season, Amazon is giving away 25 free downloads of Christmas songs. Although not part of the Collective, I am interested in a couple of tracks that look particularly interesting, namely Lady Gaga's cut and The Coventry Carol by the Mideaval Baebes.

In the background while I was immersed in the Amazing Twitter Marathon, the finale of So You Think You Can Dance played out, and I am pleased to say I had the winner pegged from the audition phase. It was the Best Season Ever, and while I did have more than one favorite (Jacob? You're SICK. And Kathryn? Gimme a break! Totally amazing) the dancer who won was not only the first of his genre (krumping. Hard core KRUMPING!) to win, he is the first of his genre to make it to the top twenty.

There were many stellar routines this year from some brilliantly talented dancers, but unfortunately Fox has been stingy about releasing any video so I can't share them here. I will say none of the routines, in spite of my fondness for choreographers Sonja and Travis, touched me like a Mia Michael's routine (she has left the show, sadly.) Yes, she's a Total Biotch On Wheels, but that woman knows how to choreograph.

I think I may take the day off. I think I've earned it.
