onchard in my veins

though i've got the sniffles, i am excited and inspired. last week i stayed at chez onchard while the pajama's were away, and that in itself was fun (free pay per view aka girls gone wild all week), but it was when i got home that i got weird. when i unpacked my bag, it smelled like their house, which still smells like hot tub and chlorine (though thats been out of operation for years) and i was so nostalgic. it reminded me of high school and the smell of a first boyfriend (before he started to wear that fake deoderant that looked like a crystal- that was a whole other smell). i got onchard in my veins. it made me all gooshy to think of how much i love you.

and t, you have inspired me in a few ways this week too. first, your blog about how crap life is yet how good you have it made me think the same about my own situation. of course i'd like things to be different (better), but they really could be a lot worse. also, based loosely on your paper weaving art, i am working on some shirts with a related design and i will send one as soon as they're finished. i've also been cleaning through old magazines, so i think i'll have a good pile of them to send you soon. i love you for your ability to kepp going, enthusiatically even, no matter what.

i'm just so lucky to have the friends i have, and sometimes i forget that, and then when i remember again, it just washes over me. even caesuran with your weird postcards that you continue to send to my mother's side of the house, you have a charm all your own which is much easier to appreciate a million miles away.

anyway, i am overwhelmed with love for all of you. and no, this is not some weird suicide note. i just like to spread the love around sometimes.
