In trying to find a fitting pic for this, i realized that i don't really have any of the truck. this one is most appropriate because it sort of captures the many uses the truck had. this is me living in it on my month long cross country odyssey of 2000 (i think this is in athens, GA, but i'm not totally sure). she was a good truck and got me where i needed to go. i have 2 favorite memories of her: 1. pulling into new mexico, just over the border from texas into the first rest stop i found in the weee hours, blowing up the air mattress and falling asleep to the sounds of big rigs pulling in and wild dogs howling across the highway. i found a wrangler tag from some cowboy's jeans the next day on the ground outside the truck and kept it. 2. rolling across the flat expanse of oklahoma, with t at the wheel, listening to tom waits singing 'hold on'.

sigh...

so i am now the proud owner of a black 2002 saturn sl2. i like the car and i really like the phrase "Black Saturn"...i am ironman!
