So, as a single gal again, I am trying to embrace this tornado that I’ve been dropped back into. This is going about as well as you would imagine embracing a tornado would. Since I have 3 main suitors, I’m going to pretend that I’m that other lusty redhead of fiction, Lucy Westenra, and refer to them in that context. Let’s examine:

Quincey Morris, the cowboy- a teller of tall tales; a little rough around the edges, but such a generous and considerate heart; young, poor, passionate; the least promising of the contenders, but still irresistible...

John Seward, crazy asylum psychiatrist- also young, but full of confidence and swagger; whip smart; hedonistic and indulgent with everything; fearless; addicted and addictive; obviously the most appealing for his lack of potential...

Arthur Holmwood, Lord Godalming- older, respectable father & homeowner; funny as hell; lots of shared friends; most long term potential; most “adult” and therefore, the one I feel like I should invest most in, but still I hesitate to take this next evolutionary step.
