tired. been rooving forever it seems. we had that nasty hail storm a few months back and it damaged so many rooves its really unbelievable. you cannot go a single block in shadyside (the hardest-hit town) without seeing at least 3 rooves being done. the one we started this morning, we were flanked by a roove that went on earlier this week and a roove thats gonna go on sometime next week. this past week we did one where there were 3 out of 4 houses in a row getting rooved. we kinda gathered together during breaks and compared notes with the other roovers and they said the same thing: "christ, rooving as a steady job sucks." course, I guess Im getting in shape somewhat. plus, having money is a real perk.

just finished under the dome for the second time and I really think it was better. knowing the ending kinda made it read smoother. did anyone else read blockade billy? I thought it was really a cool story.

I have King's audiobook UR and one by richard matheson/steven k & joe hill called roadrage. but Ill be dammed if I can find the time to sit and listen. UR is 2 1/4 hours and roadrage is 2 1/2, but Im prolly gonna just return 'em to the library unlistened to. I cant sit that long, and if I would maybe play one while doing chores, I wouldnt hear it anyway. I cant even play music when choring (maybe 'cant' is too strong a word, prolly should say prefer not) cuz I'd focus on the wrong thing at the wrong time and 1. miss a plot clue or 2. destroy part of the house. I managed to listen to shawshank, but I think I just sat there one afternoon after rooving and was too tired to move and not sleepy enough to crash. might come a day like that again. who knows.

Shaun and Megan had another child. thats 3. Samuel Adam Ault...and yes, the beer jokes have already started.

Cat is in heat again. roughly every 2 1/2 weeks she goes into heat. I cant fork out $65 to get her 'stuff' cut out, so we all just deal with her whining.

tractor is finally fixed. so why is the grass so high? cuz Im too fucking tired to care about it after nailing shingles all day...thats why :)

watched The Decent 2 the other night. not great, but watchable. and did I mention I saw alice in wonderland (or whatever its called) a week or so ago? was okayish. Depp, as usual, is pretty cool. the special fx were good, too.
