The Official Sandwich?

Ahhh, Fluffernutters, just like Mom used to make.

Lawmakers in the state I was born, Massachusetts, are currently debating the merits of this time honored sandwich and whether it ought to be served in schools.

One Legislator accuses schools of serving the yummy white bread-peanut butter-Fluff* concoction too often, whereas another wants to make it the state's official sandwich.

This article has some info about it, and about the origin of Fluff, just in case you're not a die-hard fan (or from Massachusetts). I also like a dollop of that sweet, sticky goodness in a steaming mug of hot chocolate, and it makes a good s'more, too. Here are some more recipes, from the Fluff homepage.

*Marshamallow creme, for the unintiated, except whippier.
