Pimme's Questions

Pimme's questions caught my attention:
1. Name the household chore that you hate the most.

Well, I don't own an iron or an ironing board any more, so I guess the household chore I hate the most is picking up after the dog. Especially when the grass is a bit tall.

2. Have you recently listened to an album that you didn't play for a while, and suddenly felt nostalgic for the old days?

Just a couple of days ago I found my Joan Baez album, "Farewell Angelina." I was in graduate school, my roommate had just started teaching and the world was in protest of one sort or another. Farewell Angelina was her album and she played it on auto repeat until I thought I would go crazy. I left the apartment just to get away from it and studied at the Mediterraneum Coffee House, which buzzed (in more ways than one) all night, but was my home away from home.

When she moved out, I missed the songs so much, I went out and bought my own copy of the music. I still have it all these years later.

3. If you could have changed one thing about your high school experience, what would it have been?

I didn't take Trig and Solid Geometry and if I had it to do over, I would. Because I was a girl, I thought I couldn't do maths. I was in graduate school before I discovered that in fact I am quite brilliant in mathematics and it comes easily to me, much more so than the warm and fuzzy stuff.

Does anyone else want to answer these questions?
