Thank you for giving me great moral support. I am feeling pretty well, except that my left eye is showing the (bright red) results of bleeding and, of course, I could go in disguise as a raccoon (is it Hallowe'en yet?). And my eyes are extremely sensitive to light. But the good new is, the "tic" is gone! Yay!!

And the doctor did a really clean job of sewing it up so I look like I have two sets of eyebrows. I know the reason for using black sutures, but really, on skin as fair as mine....

Any kind of anesthetic has funny effects on me. I wake up far faster than anyone anticipates; I get jittery and restless; and I get so "high" and silly, I'm embarrassed afterward. Thursday was no exception. I had a great time--until it wore off. However, while it lasted, I was quite witty and had the entire attending staff in stitches.

I don't think I'll be leaving the house tomorrow, even for Sunday service. I'm spending a lot of time with my eyes covered with an ice pack. It helps (but it's boring).

Maybe I should send out for dancing boys?
