I was summoned to appear at the Superior Court for Jury Duty today. After spending most of the day in court, listening (I'm a kinesthetic learner not an auditory one), I'm really tired.

We haven't finished voir dire yet, so I go back again tomorrow.

I must say it's much more organized and considerate of jurors' needs than it used to be years ago. Still, though, I would rather not. I'm always uncomfortable in a general way with the idea of sitting in judgement.

Not to mention the disruption of my personal life.
