Jury Duty Day 3

As with everything in life, the issues are clear, but the devil is in the details.

The weather was spectacularly beautiful--the kind of sunshine and light breezes that brought people to live in southern California in droves--and I took advantage of it during every break to sit in the sun and bask, like a lizard. I begin to think there's something to be said for a lizard's point of view. Sit and bask and wait for dinner to fly or crawl by.

I stopped for Chinese take-out on the way home. By the time I got home the car was redolent of garlic and spices. Yum!

Monday morning, it will be back to the courtroom for more boring but important details, sifting the wheat from the chaff that the attorneys throw up.

I'd rather be a lizard.
