How nice of Mother Nature to water the tomatoes for me. Just a light, drizzly sort of rain--perfect for the little darlings. Tomorrow is predicted dry, cold and windy, typical southern California after-storm weather. The tomatoes are all protected by cages, so I think they will be all right.

The Better Boys have 2 and 3 blossoms each. The Early Girls are budded. The Champions are growing nicely. The volunteer whatever-it-is tomato is increasing in size like crazy, nearly twice as tall as the ones I planted as seedlings. The lone Ace tomato in a giant pot is doing well (no buds).

I've got high hopes. Oops there goes another...(remember the song?)
