The tomatoes have many blossoms, with several showing the thickened stems just behind the blossom, indicating that pollination has occurred and a tomato is in the making. This is the perfect weather for them and they are gowing apace.

Next week I'm off work and, instead, providing shuttle service to and from the VA hospital clinics. In the works are plans to get passport photos and, eventually, the passport itself. Yay! Also going to clean the patio furniture, pick up detritus and generally make the backyard a nice place to have dinner and relax.

This morning I heard ferocious scrabbling behind my computer chair. I lifted my bare feet off the floor just in time to avoid a cat chasing a mouse. She returned triumphant a few minutes later with a loud yowling and a very dead mouse. She got pets and treats and I removed the carcass to the trash.
