We're having the southern California late night and early morning low clouds and fog, so typical of this time of year that we call it "June gloom".

The temperatures stay cool, in the 70's, and the humidity is high enough to alleviate the dried-out sinuses. Ah, blessed relief!

Fresh home-brewed Guatemalan coffee is in the pot and the delightful chore of choosing a new book to read is on the To-Do List.

But first I take you to the list of "Must Do" items: grocery shopping, take SO on errands, laundry, planning meals for the week ahead, and so forth. These take priority over anything so frivolous as coffee and reading.

The cats, of course, would have me reverse my priorities.

I think they're on to something.
