Monday morning hubby will get ECT treatment. I'm hoping it will alleviate his depression to a large extent. I'll be thinking about it off and on all weekend, trying to devise potential scenarios for the future.

Like, what am I going to do when they send him home? Both of Norm's caregivers have gone back home, one to the Philippines (her mother is gravely ill) and one to Pittsburgh (to be with her husband).

However, I determined that this month's entries were going to be upbeat, no matter my inner fears. So let me talk instead about what a beautiful morning it is (headed for HOT this afternoon), and how grateful I am for this respite.

Off to Trader Joe's to replenish the larder.
