I've been reading Woodstock's journal regularly (see link to the left). Every few months (this month and again earlier in February) there are entries with the heading "Books Update".

With a marvellously wide range of interests, a catholic (in the sense of including a wide variety of things) taste in books; after reading every Books Update I find myself scouring the used book shelves for authors recommended.

Descriptions and reviews are spot-on. I've just started reading China Trade, the first of the S. J. Rozan books featuring Chin and Smith (I like to read series in order).

(I have a 100-page rule. If it hasn't held my interest for the first 100 pages, I give it up and start another.)

It's all Woodstock's fault, you see, that my To Be Read pile of books is teetering precariously high, occasionally tumbling to the floor as a result of curious cat(s) in high activity mode.

As the saying goes, So Many Books, So Little Time.
