Came across a little pocket radio (FM only) in the back of a desk drawer, complete with ear buds.

The perfect solution to the noise pollution. I'm listening to an oldies station--California Dreamin', If I Could Turn Back Time, Jessie's Girl, This City was Built on Rock 'n Roll.

Not my first choice of music, but beats the heck out of the logorrhea with which this office is afflicted when the boss is out.

And I'm actually enjoying it. My manager is relaxed enough that I think he will let me listen to music, so long as I can hear the telephone when it makes that annoying sound to get my attention.

This is me, fighting back in my own subtle way. Wearing jeans, too, (against the dress code) but they're brown, not blue. Rebel Underground--I think of it that way.

There are many ways to be yourself.
