I've had my iPhone a little over 24 hours now and I'm totally hooked. I can rationalize to myself that it's all because I need to set it up with apps and so forth, but really?

Really, I just can't put it down. I spent so much time on it yesterday that by the evening my eyes were too blurry to read (I read for an hour or so before bedtime to wind down). I was "forced" to play solitaire, instead.

I'm in love.

This morning? First thing, I checked my phone for calls or messages. Tucked it into my pocket when I went for my walk and took a picture for practice. It was fuzzy because I was shaking slightly (out of breath), so I don't know how successful my picture-taking will be.

When I worked for a newspaper, my mentor taught me to hold my breath and/or brace the camera on a solid object. I'll try that the next time I'm out.

Someone, something, needs to pry me loose so that I can do something productive with my day.
