I hopped on over to a couple of places where blog meisters were discussing how to make your blog popular and how to make your blog interesting.

There was fairly unanimous agreement, both by the authors of the articles and by the commenters afterward, that content is king. Write what moves you, write authentically. That's easy, when you are a person of wide and varied interests and you are involved in the world around you.

The other advice, how to popularize your online journal, was a bit wacky, I thought. The suggestion was to put a keyword in the title (or subject) of your daily musings that would be picked up by someone googling a popular topic.
