Six Snow Days

Well, today is the sixth snow day closure for our island schools. We can make up one in March, but that leaves five to be tacked onto the end of the school year.

For anyone without their handy-dandy School Calendar Calculator (tm), this means our last student day is (drum roll, please):

JUNE 27th!

and our last staff day is June 28th.

My motorcycle throttle hand is already twitching, and not in the good way.

Today, I will walk the three miles into town so I can do the following:

- dispel my cabin fever

- see other humans

= purchase groceries

= get exercise that doesn't involve a 6th day of elliptical

- see the sun (which may come out, though I live in the Great NorthWET)

- check my mailbox

- breathe fresh air

- listen to my iPod, which is full of new stuff

Ciao for now, lurkers. (And it wouldn't hurt if you commented some. I realize that blogging is masturbatory at its core, but some pretense of interest on your part would be appreciated, and slighty reinforcing for me.)

:)
