My former neighbor, the Divine Miss H, and her friend, LA Man, came over last night with wine and cheese and crackers. We chatted it up on the deck as the sun set and the moon rose.

I haven't had that much fun just chatting in a long, long time. Thanks Miss H and your buddy. It was a hoot!
It was putter day. Thrift-store dropoff (yay, decrappifying!), post-office box checking (yay, two Netflix envelopes!), depositing a check (yay, grocery money!) and going to the grocery store (yay, food! boo, pricetag!).

House puttering included revising the OmGym's placement, doing dishes, hanging out laundry to dry, and putting out butter to soften for the eventual chocolate-chip cookie making. I sent out invitations to a beading and beverage party, filled the birdfeeders (nectar in one, thistle in the other) and watched a bunch of South Park episodes from Season Nine. I finally know how Mr. Garrison became Mrs. Garrison. Whew!
Two hummingbirds are perched on my clothesline at this very moment. Charmed life, I tell you!
I got a letter in the mail from This Guy, the one who launched his shit right into my ear via AT&T. He alternately apologized for his behavior, bemoaned the lack of my presence, and judged my life, my friends, and my actions. And then said he was open to me contacting him. (Insert picture of me thumbing my nose and waving my private parts at his auntie.)
I think today is a floating day. I'll have to find that air mattress. And a Mike's Hard Lime. And some sunscreen.
