Last Day Boogie.

Sunday morning, very bright . . .

Today's the day. I pick up the truck in an hour, and then I'm singing The Last Day Boogie in E Major.

The party was a success; fewer than last time and therefore more mellow. I loved the vibe, as I'd been awake since 4:30 yesterday morning.

Nearly everything is packed. Thanks, Cajun and Gigi for your amazing help. I've got to get a few more boxes when I pick up the truck, and I have all faith that we will be done with the place today. Yay! I won't have to come back tomorrow and clean. I can just wake up in my place, go for a coffee with Mom, and wrestle my possessions into their ordained Scoutified locations.

I'm reimbursing my helpers, and buying them Subway sandwiches for lunch. My mother has cookies and my aunt's chili waiting at the new place. My family can be pretty cool.

Getting on the ferry now. More soon.
