Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary.

19 years.

When my husband and I started dating no one could believe we were together because we are so different. He leans towards the conservative side, I do not. He plays music constantly, I play the audience. He is quiet, I am not. He is mild mannered, I am hot tempered and opinionated. He was shy, I was not.

But even then we knew that in spite of our differences we really had the same values. We just often approach them from different ends of the spectrum.

We have tested the "for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer" vows over the past 19 years and it certainly has not always been easy. We work together, we live together, we raise children together, and sometimes we even vacation together. Life has thrown us many good and bad things, but we have done it together.

For 19 years.
