Laundry room woes

We had a very stressful weekend trying to stack our dryer on top of our washer.

What is stressful about that? Well, we are sick and tired of *projects*. In the past 18 months we have patched a hole in our bedroom ceiling with a sheetrock patch, taken down broken fences, rebuilt fences, moved logs/logs/logs/logs/logs from 60 downed trees, rebuilt garden paths, fixed holes in the deck, moved debris, burned debris, and more stuff that I just can't think of right now.

This crazy idea of mine to stack our washer and dryer to make more room in the laundry room was the breaking point. It didn't work, they were too fat, the door wouldn't open when they were here, the plug wouldn't reach when they were there, it just didn't work anywhere. Two trips to Lowes, 6 hours of trying and the things are not stacked. They never will be.

There was no "we're in this together". Nope, it was loud and it wasn't pretty.

And now, I have a cold and am well on my way to losing my voice.

Karma sucks.
