My car accident of Friday has been deemed an "at fault" accident by my lizard insurance company. Which means that although I was not given a ticket, the other person was probably speeding, and I had been concentrating very hard on not getting in an accident at this tricky intersection...my insurance rates will increase or they will drop us at the next renewal. Fireplace.

Thunk. That was the other shoe dropping when the washing machine decided to stop working on Saturday. There are only 5 loads of clothes that need to be washed. The first available repair appointment available, Thursday. Miss Teen was not please to be told that she can only wear one outfit a day. My sister asked who I had pissed off.
Thank God we have a washer and dryer at the office.

The weather is beautiful with highs in the low 80's. My sister and my niece swam in our pool on Saturday. Tomorrow I plan to start swimming laps again. The azaleas are in full bloom, the newly planted swamp irises are beginning to bloom, the yellow jasmine and cross vines are hanging from all the trees, and the gingers are starting to punch through the ground.

In spite of the wonderful weather I am definitely in a funk. Dealing with car insurance woes was not on my "want to do" list. In spite of replaying the accident over and over and over in my head, I just can not figure out how it happened. The damage to my car has a preliminary estimate of over $5000, fireplace.

So, what's a girl to do? Swim laps, plod through the next day and hope that this run of crap ends soon.
