Miss Teen is in her high school's production of "High School Musical" this weekend. They had 2 shows on Wednesday, 3 yesterday, 3 today and 2 tomorrow. She has had to miss two performances because of NOCCA (fancy pants artsy fartsy high school). The creative writing department of FPAFHS did not think that being in the school play was an acceptable reason to miss "their" stufff. WTF, creativity comes in many forms.

Hubby and I saw the show last night. The sound system should have been turned off after the first minutes as it was obviously not. working. right. The show itself was fair. We won't be seeing it twice.

No one in my house is on call this weekend, the weather is suppossed to be beautiful and we have no horse shows to go to. Look out yard work, here we come! On the way home today I will be picking up Roundup, new hoses, fire ant poison, garden tape and stakes.

The washing machine is fixed. 10 loads of laundry to do this weekend. That will be the chore of any child who whines about yard work.

My van is going to be in the shop for one month! We are now seriously considering buying the 3rd car we were going to buy in a year when Miss Teen gets her license. My other idea is a Vespa that can go on the interstate. The only problem is that I just don't know if I can ride one of those over bridges and overpasses. Heights and I don't get along.

And now I have to go. My nurse just came in to tell me that the father of the children I am about to see is saying that the mother of the children attacked him with a hammer a few nights ago. Apparently, he is pretty beat up and now I get to go decide whether I have to call Children's Services.
Kind of puts all of my above minutiae into perspective.
