Today I celebrate 3 days of non-smoking. The first two days were pretty rough, today was so much better. I actually can get through spans of time without thinking about smoking.
Smoking has been a part of my life since I was 13. I have been smoking for 37 years. It's hard to believe. At $20.00 a week thats a little over 38,000.00.

The reasons I decided to stop smoking are.
Society has changed the rules about smoking, there are more and more places you can't smoke. I got tired of basing where I wanted to go on weather I could smoke or not.

I was starting to wheeze, and was out of breath a lot.

I was coughing and it was gross. It's hard to find anything I think is gross!

I want to live long enough to see my grandson grow up. I don't want him to remember his grandma Cindy smelled icky.

Guess thats about it. I feel good about it. I am proud of myself.
