Today was wonderful. Weather was gorgeous!

Started my day with a gift from DS. An eye pillow made with lavender that his class grew. : ) Oh, and a homemade card.

After breakfast, the kids and I went out tadpole hunting. Yep, tadpole hunting. Brought a few home to the acquarium we'd set up the day before. They seem to be doing just fine. DS is going to be journaling on their progress.

In the afternoon we all headed out to Sycamore cove. I'd never been there before. Been up the canyon many times, but never down to the cove. It was a blast.

The only downside was not getting groceries or laundry done. Luckily we don't need much. But the laundry... well its 1am and I've done enough so that we all have something to wear tomorrow. ; )

But... it was the perfect mother's day.
