On my evening walks over the past week, I've had 3 occasions where I'm passing a house and someone (an adult by the sounds) is yelling at the top of his/her lungs at someone in the house. I don't know if the target was a child or another adult but still I find it disconcerting. My parents were the yelling type. I think it just reminds me of them.

I know Bob and I don't do that with each other... yelling to comunicate. Sometimes we do raise our voice at each other or at Sam because he's not listening. But I don't think we YELL. I have to wonder, if on those occasions where our voices are raised, if someone isn't passing by our house thinking the same thoughts and feeling just as disconcerted.
