2004-04-13 9:39 AM I wish it was the 60s... I wish I could be Scarlett Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: happy-go-lucky Read/Post Comments (1) Going to my roommate's house for 30 hours was the best thing I ever could have done. I really needed a small chance just to get away and get refocused. Now I feel like studying and crushing my Myth and Symbol exam.
Her parents spoiled us so much. I haven't eaten that much delicious food in large quantities for a long time. On Sunday we watched Baraka. It was the 3rd time I'd seen it and I was amazed to discover there were parts of it that I didn't recall ever watching. It was a nice opportunity to reflect upon things. Then next morning we went on an Easter egg hunt. Only there were a mere two items to be found: something pink and something purple. Robin's house backs onto a park so we were searching outdoors. In my brilliance I wore a skirt and my legs got completely scratched up from plowing bravely through sticks, trees and prickly bushes. Now I look all badass like I did when I was playing frisbee. Anyways, I found Robin's and she found mine. They turned out to be bags shaped like bunnies about the size of my head. They were filled with great stuff like a chicken keychain that poops out candy, jelly bean containers filled with candy, butterfly socks and shoelaces (I should put those in my soccer shoes), laffy taffy, mini m&ms, gum, and magnets: one says "cafeteria victim!" and the other says "what homework??!" It's funny cause it's true. Oh, and I also got a little kit that lets you make your own goat (I kid you not). Haha. Plus I also got a big chocolate monkey instead of a chocolate bunny. (I love these people). It's doing a gesture with its right leg that reminds me of the Hindu gesture that means like "have no fear." I have a Hindu monkey!
